Be great if cumulative values could be calculated in Civil 3D tables..
Particularly for stage storage analysis using Volume Surfaces…
Other maths functions or row to row maths would also be useful…
Any table created in Civil 3d should be able to be easily exported to EXCEL or CSV or maybe even converted into a regular Autocad Table…
There are a few alternatives for now. The best one I have found is the “Table Exporter” App. Available for free from the Autodesk App EXchange.
Download “Table Exporter” here
Once installed it provides a tool in the ribbon the dumps your table straight into excel! Great App!
Another alternative is you can use the COT.lsp, link below.
Basically explode the table twice, use the COT.lsp to convert it to an Autocad Table, then right click-> export…
Download COT.lsp (convert to table)
This would be awesome… the ability to generate a dynamic object dependency graph in Civil 3D. Not only that but an editable object dependency graph!!
Really a lot of things you could do here if you put enough of thought into it..
Sheet sets on slows networks cause problems, but this could be easily mitigated by adding a timeout feature on sheetset network requests.
If a file can’t be found in X seconds then stop checking…
Be great if you could turn off automatic updating of material take off calculation temporarily.
For some larger calculations every time I update the corridor it hangs forever
